CarYaar launches Operations across Mumbai Metropolitan Region

Date: 12 Jun 2026

CarYaar, a DPIIT-recognised technology startup incubated at CIBA under the Department of Science & Technology (DST) and Startup India initiatives, announced the launch of its operations across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Kalyan. The company begins its journey with a network of over 50 certified empanelled workshops and aims to organise India's fragmented car repairs, servicing, and maintenance sector through technology-driven processes, skill development, and enhanced customer transparency.

Joel Daniel D'Souza, Co-Founder & Director, CarYaar Auto Private Limited , said, "CarYaar is built on a simple belief: vehicle servicing should be transparent, trustworthy, and customer-centric. For too long, car owners have lacked visibility into what happens once their vehicle enters a workshop. We are changing that by using technology to create greater accountability, communication, and confidence throughout the service journey. At the same time, we believe every technician deserves recognition as a skilled professional whose expertise keeps vehicles safe and roadworthy. By bringing customers, workshops, OEMs, and other stakeholders onto a connected platform, we are creating an ecosystem where trust is built through transparency and informed decision-making. Our goal is to transform vehicle servicing from a process customers often approach with uncertainty into one they can engage with confidently and proudly."

CarYaar's platform enables customers to access and manage their vehicle service journey directly through WhatsApp (+91 9867 659 660), including service booking, real-time job tracking, photo updates, estimate approvals, and digital payments, eliminating the need to download a separate application. The platform is designed to connect workshops, customers, OEMs, and other ecosystem stakeholders through a unified technology interface that improves visibility and operational efficiency.

In addition to technology enablement, CarYaar will invest significantly in the skill development of partner workshops through structured onboarding, process training, and quality benchmarking programmes aimed at raising service standards across its network.

The CarYaar network was formally inaugurated at Express Autocare, one of the company's authorised partner workshops in Kalyan.
